Bought these for my wife for use with her iPad. She wears hearing aids. The over-the-ear design plus noise cancellation has worked out well for her listening pleasure. Purposely selected the wired design for its' simplicity, batteries not required and the lower cost. Fold-up design makes it easy to carry them in her tote bag.

Noise canceling is great, comfortable fit, good price.

I have an old headset I used at work and now at home. I worked in a very noisy environment and regular ear buds and headsets didn't block out the noise, but these were outstanding and allowed me to listen to my music. I bought these for when I go to the gym and I can connect to the TV, which make exercise less boring. Much less expensive than others I've seen.

This headphone is almost 10 times cheaper than a good high-end models like Bose ones. It still manages to cancel out humming noises coming from a ceiling fan or high bass audio to some extent, I would say 30 or 40%. Its good for indoor listening where you don't have lot of complex mix of noises. Its barely effective in running car or a plane where you have different levels of noises coming from multiple sources. So the point is..if you really need a truly noise cancelling headphone, be ready to spend around $300, this is not the right product otherwise this headphone is a pretty good deal. Very nice built quality, folds up, looks good and good sound quality.

I purchased these for a recent international trip and really appreciated the noise cancelling while watching movies on the flight. While there are likely better products out there for much more money, these work quite well and I'd buy again.

Great for the money and work really well when the batteries dont die. Had these for about a month and have had to replace the batteries 4 times already. Other than that they sound amazing!

These headphones are a good set of medium quality headphones. Noise cancellation does really well with removing low frequency sounds. Don't expect these to compete with headphones that cost $200 but for what you pay for them, they work pretty well.

These are good headphones with noise cancelling capability. Peace of advise, get the 2 year warranty that best buy offers ($12.00). It is worth it. I bought this for my son and have it replaced twice already and didn't have to pay anything at all.

These headphones are very comfortable. The sound is very good and rich.

this set of sony noise cancelling headphones does the job for me I fly a lot so the noise cancelling comes in handy to block out some of the surrounding noise

Haven't had a chance to use them on a plane. This is why i got them. Fit is good.

Good sound for the money but the battery life is short. Batteries didn't last the round trip across the Atlantic.

We bought these as a gift for our teen for Christmas and he has had them on every day since so I would say they get the 5 star rating just because we have not had a request to return and get a different pair. Teens are so hard to please these days. Also., the noise canceling obviously works as he has heard nothing I have said since receiving them in December.

Bought these for my daughter. Durability is good and sound is great.
