I bought these mostly for use on airplanes. Without noise cancelling headphones, I could not hear a movie or video, and these are perfect. The earpieces swivel and rotate so that they stay close on my ears, and sounds are really crisp. I really like them!

I have a pair of Bose headphones that are noise canceling, and these headphones are very comparableI would recommend them to anyone looking for a good deal with a decent sound quality.

I bought these for my daughter to wear on a flight and they were perfect. The noise-canceling feature worked well and the sound was also very good. They fold up small for storage, which is also nice.

I ended up not needing the plane jack since the plane had a regular headphone input, but the sound worked well and I continue to use them today while commuting by train.

I am very happy with these earphones. They cancel out quite a lot of external sound. They are very compact and bend in a way that makes it possible to carry it in a small case/pouch.

I am very pleased with Sony’s headphones. They are very comfortable on for long periods of time and do cancel noise 100%. I looked at a number of headsets and their ratings and this particular pair meets all my expectations.

Got them for a relative for the holidays, and hearing that they do exactly what she needs them to do: block out office noise and listen to music, but not overpowering on the music end

I bought these in preparation for a recent flight with my family. We have three kids ranging in age from 3 to 14. I have a set of Bose QC15 and and QC 20, but with three kids on a flight I do not get to use them. These Sony headphones allowed me to hear the movie I was watching, but had considerable back ground noise. The Bose are much more quiet but cost much more. If you fly once per year, these might be OK. if you fly more often, or have a problem hearing with background noise you will want to go with a better pair of headphones.

Mostly I use these flying - perfect with the noise cancellation. Reasonable fidelity - good sound, I ended up having to buy a 2nd pair as my wife liked the first pair too much.

Excellent sound for the price. The best thing - didn't have to worry about charging them before use!

Bought for kid for school work. Nice gadget, working fine and sound quality is good too. Wire, and no Bluetooth features.

For starters, these are on-the-ear headphones. They do sound great none-the-less. The n/c works as expected and make music sound terrific. Just wish they were more over-the-ear than on.

I've owned another set of Sony headphones these are similar but the sound is much better and the noise canceling is definitely better. I will be buying a second set as this was for my son

My desk is in cubicle land so when I am in the office with several co-workers it can be difficult to concentrate on my paperwork. These headphones work well to help block out the noise and the sound quality is great as well.

I bought these headphones as a gift for my wife. She didn't need anything elaborate, just some to hear her music. Great purchase!

I purchased this headset for use when driving my tractor cutting the lawn. my wife is not well and if she needs me i cannot hear the phone ring while the tractor is cutting. This headset has solved the problem.

I bought these after reading reviews about the noise-canceling design. These headphones became my new best friend on the plane. I was able to fall asleep to the sound of Frank Sinatra in my ears instead of the screaming brat on the other end of the row. I highly recommend these!
