My son loves these earphones to listen to his music in the car. Can't hear outside noise and the sound quality is good.

I'd call these good headphones, but compared to the Bose Noise cancelling headphones I've tried, these don't filter out nearly as much noise. Acceptable at a quarter the price, but if I had it to do over again, I'd get the Bose. After taking these on an international flight, I could still hear babies crying, plane noise, etc. With the Bose I used on another trip, I was in my own world.

These Sony noise canceling wired ear headphones where a gift for a special needs child who has sensitive ears. They fit him great. He loves them.

Not top of the line or the costliest but they get the job done and are really light.

These are inexpensive but effective noise cancelling headphones for airplane travel, where the possibility of loss is higher than headphones for your desk top computer or premium sound system.

For the cost of these headphone, the work great for an airplane. I use them when I flight, or when I am cutting the grass. They work great for a cheap noise cancelling headphones.

I purchased the headphones for a trip I had planned to Washington DC. They were wonderful on the airplane. I have since used them at a baseball game and they cancelled out the sound of crying children!

I'm happy with theses headphones. They could use a bass booster option but the noise cancellation is pretty nice. I'd suggest having some back up batteries on you when out and about. When the battery is low you will here the noise reducer fade in and out. If you are an active person I would pay the extra for the wireless version.

Less than a month after purchase the wire started coming apart and 1 speaker stopped working. My bf tried to reconnect the wire, and failed, which messed them up so bad I was embarrassed to try and return them! Plus you can only purchase online so it would've been a headache to do anyway. $40 is not worth it for hese headphones! Ended up purchasing a $5 pair elsewhere and they've been fine, same sound quality and haven't fallen apart!..plus it was odd to have a switch with a battery for on and off though it wasn't an issue just had to remember to turn on n off so battery didn't die.

Although we returned it because we didn’t need it anymore but as much as I tested it, it sounded great and built was also great. I recommend buying this.

I was looking for some decent head phones to do editing in a noisy room. These fit the bill and were not overly expensive.
