    This is a rechargeable battery. I loved the fact that I can shoot all day on one battery. It recharges very fast.

    The battery charged within a reasonable amount of time and seems to hold that charge well. I got it for free with the camera package. Glad I didn't have to pay its high price. Might be good to look for lower cost alternative.

    The battery life per charge is adequate especially if camera is turned off immediately after use. Also didn't know that battery can be charged with special USB cable while still in the camera. Great for trips; saves having to carry a battery recharger.
