Needed addition to camera.

Cant use the camera when charging the extra battery...camera should have come with charger. Charger seems to work well although I feel the battery doesn't seat firmly into charger.

When you are in a photographic moment, nothing is worse than running out of battery! I recommend having a back-up.

Being an OEM battery, it works just like the battery that came with the camera. The X3000 doesn't have the greatest battery life, so having an extra battery (or two) is a must.
