this battery carried me thru 27 days in SPAIN taking over 1800 pictures I have recharged while on the trip and also had a big wedding in North Haven Maine in June another 1000 photos ... i am still using it in 2019...I do not use it all the time

Great battery! Just got back from a tour in Great Britain and Ireland. Have two batteries for my HX400V used both batteries everyday for 12 days and took over 4,100 photos. I'd recharge both batteries and go again with a full day of photos the next day! Still charging strong.

If you indulge in photography you need to carry an extra set of batteries. This battery is slim and fits well in my small camera bag. It gives up to 450 shots with my camera which is good enough for me. Use it with my RX100V Sony camera. Great accessory to have and not bulky which is a plus for me!

Excellent Battery! Lasts 29 minutes non-stop videotaping. I have several still use everyday the SONY NPBX1 Batteries from 7-8 yrs ago. I've bought extras to take on trips here and overseas. Used the SONY Battery Recharger BC-TRX, also bought 7-8 yrs ago, still doing great. I had a 2nd "generic" cheaper recharger charger but it lasted only 4-5 yrs and took longer to recharge. Highly recommend the Sony NPBX1.

Navigating Best Buy phone & online buying I found very difficult. It took at lease a half hour and another phone call to get purchase. In the future if I have to go online, I will go first to other retailers. To make that better I suggest Best Buy accept Credit card payments over the phone. I found the people nice but the system not as helpful as other retailers I deal with. At this time I can ride my bicyle the 8 miles or so and buy in person in less time than it takes to navigate the phone & online most of the time. It was good Best Buy had this battery in stock, when most retailers have closed.

Bought an extra battery for my Sony - AS300 action-cam I know there are after market versions but I wouldn't trust any other brand. When you buy brand name there is no risk for compatibility issues, build quality is better as well as durability, the charge is very consistent no unexpected power loss. Simply put the quality is better and more reliable.

so far it has been good. It holds a charge like a battery is supposed to. but it may stop any day

spend the extra $ on a the actual name brand battery for your cameras! it really makes a difference, the off brands ya cheaper but not by much & won't last! these batteries last a long time & even charge faster than others. didn't think it really mattered till now but it does. I even bought an extra one cause it is always good to have a back up!

This battery is a nice in that it's small and lightwieght, but the usage time and the price are an issue with me. I mostly use it in my relatively new HDR-CX240 to record my children's school and travel basketball games, and those usually last 45-60 minutes per game. Once the battery life indicator gets to 3/4, it seems as if it discharges faster, and that's taking into account that I always close the camera's view finder during timeouts and breaks in action to conserve energy. I can't afford to let the battery totally discharge while filming so I usually swap out with a spare after every game. I have been brave enough to go a game and a half before changing it out, but I won't go longer than that. I may try to experiment with some games that don't matter to me to see how long it will last, but not on the important ones. I have to keep three on me at all times to be sure. One good thing is that they usually recharge relatively quickly. My one other issue is the price. I love Sony products, but they tend to be a little more pricey than needed IMHO. Not even counting the cost of my camera, three batteries and a charger have set me back $150. For that kind of money, I should get better battery life. In comparison with my older HDR-CX-220 camera with the NP-FV100 battery, I could record at least 4 games before putting a dent in the battery life. It may have been bulky, but it was a beast in longevity. If Sony could increase the battery life by 50%, then I would give it an excellent rating.

It's a Sony product. Designed for a Sony camera. It's what I wanted. I don't know any better.

This battery is a good quality battery. It holds a charge well, is small, light, and it charges quickly.

There are plenty of off brand batteries available for the Sony RX-100 series cameras. After spending a good sum of money for a quality camera in my opinion why skimp on batteries. I am very satisfied with the purchase. Performed well during recent trip to China.

Bought for my ZV-1. Works as it should! This camera does die fast though

Great battery. Thought it was on the pricey side and the short term charge hold is limited but I have been using the same one for 3 years and still holds juice about the same. Just got another one after burning through my 3rd knockoff brand version.
