    this battery charges quickly and retains it's charge. for my purposes it is not necessary to get two batteries.

    Purchased this with my camera. Have yet to use it as the camera battery has been sufficient. Will keep it on hand for when it is needed. It is always a smart idea to have an extra battery on hand.
