it would be better if songs could be deleted or grouped directly on the device.

I bought this as a gift for an eleven year old girl and she absolutely loves it.

I've had a similar Sony for many years, but the battery got weak and I couldn't find a replacement. So I saw this one which was similar but with twice the capacity, so I bought it. I like the style, size, features, and price.

For storage of music, and videos it's great. A camera would make it better.

It's a basic MP3 player. perfect for listening to music while jogging.

For those who don't want an IPod this seems to be a good alternative.

Works great as advertised. Only issue I have is the hold/on off button is the same and messes things up.

I downloaded audible books on mac format for a Nano. I need to redo the for the Mp3 that this devise needs.

I dropped it in a glass of water, accidentally, must have been there 5 seconds before I pulled it out. It was top down, half the screen under water, not the bottom part. At first if I had it on it clearly had a wet connection because it kept scrolling through content. I fully dried it in rice and it works. I choose Walkman so I can use the Windows file manager and have complete control of my content and how it is organized in folders. Easy copying, pasting, and deleting of files, like I do on my computer. But it also provides Media Go if that's your comfort zone. I had a Walkman for a few years and then shorted it out with a bad speaker plugged into the car, and then it worked partially and then seemed to revive for a spell then died. My husband had one for a few years and then it got to where the battery wouldn't hold charge any more. We both chose Walkmans for replacements. We don't listen to music on a phone so we hope Sony will keep making these.

I found that this MP3 has a fantastic battery life, and its storage capacity is great as well.

I am a "low tech" person, but found this very easy to use. It holds a lot of music.

Great MP3 Player overall. I had 4 others before and they kept breaking quickly. This is easy to use and transfer music. Harder than I would like to make a playlist. You have to make the playlist on your laptop and then transfer it, no way to do it directly on the unit.

I prefer this player over others because of the battery life, cost and sound.

I love that the mp3 player is small and compact. The one thing I don't like is that is so easy to turn on. You just bearly touch it and it turns on!
