I owned a phillips GOGEAR for 10 years and I wanted something similar. I can say this specific model did the job!! It has awesome sound and an excellent radio function. It has a very nice interface with which to work with. I really don't want an IPOD or have to work with ITUNES either.

got to love Sony mp3 you will actually love listening and loving it

I bought 2 walkman mp3 players a few years ago...one just quit on me, so I needed another... the new Walkman mp3 is not the same quality....smaller in size, the screen is smaller, it feels cheaper, the older models were metal this appears to be plastic....the screen is harder to see and the font is cheaper looking....all they did is cheapen this updated Walkman to save money on production...if I knew it was going to be so different from the older model I wouldn't have bought it.

Really love my Walkman. I had a previous no-name mp3 player and all my smartphones (10+) have had the ability to store music. I travel a great deal and decided I needed something just for music. Have been a loyal Sony customer for music devices for my entire life and this doesn't disappoint at all.

Great product. I enjoy using it. It provides me with relaxing music and stories to listen to.

i bought this item for my brother to use while exercising. It does everything he needs it to do, and is extremely easy to load up with music and go!

Great for my workouts. Needed to transfer music from my computer hard drive and it was super easy to do.

This mp3 player works very well with Windows 8. My last mp3 was outdated so i needed the upgrade. My only concern is that this does not have a lock feature. The buttons are very sensitive and one slight tap could turn it on. It needs a lock button like the ipod classic.

Does everything I needed. No issues. No issues in recommending this producy.

Got this as a gift and it works great. Great MP3 player that plays videos.

My husband is death on MP3s. This is the only device that has lasted more than a few weeks. He actually had one that lasted over a year, and just replaced it with this larger capacity version. It has lived with him for 6 weeks so far, and it looks good as new.
