The only downside is the battery. If I use it daily (about 2 in a day), it seems to need to be charged by the 5th day of use.

(It plugs right into my car sound system.) I was so happy with that one that I bought another just for Christmas music to enjoy during the Christmas season. So this has worked out fine. I will probably buy another for music to use in my puppets shows. Most importantly, I had no intention of buying an IPod, since one must open an online account for that, which is intrusive and infringes on one's privacy.

The fit and finish of the unit is very good. Functions are good and best of all the sound quality is excellent. Very good value player compaired to other similar sized units.

The style is almost perfect but it doesn't have a clip at the back like sandisk mp3. It doesn't have external slot too for additional external memory and this makes me disappointed.

He wanted a Walkman CD, Hahaha. I'll have to show him how to use it. I highlighted the basic instructions and mailed it to him but at least for now he can just press play.

I love listening to music on this device.

The older models were able to play out loud without putting earbuds in your ears. This newer model does not do that, but if you are looking to listen to music clarity, then you want to listen through the ear buds anyway.
