Too painful to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I require good noise cancelling headphones for my work and got these as a backup pair for my Sennheiser pair. The two are worlds apart. While the sound quality is pretty good (some louder sounds are tinny), these headphones are just really uncomfortable to wear. I had worked twice with them two hours at a time, and my ears got folded back sharply. After even a few minutes this is uncomfortable. After two hours, it just hurts! They are just too small. I also don't like the folding aspect of it. Every time I take them off, they collapse too easily. I haven't used them in an airplane, so I can't really comment on that, but when I turned on the airplane feature I heard hissing. These are going back!

These are great for an older adult
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought these for an older adult. He is able to turn up the volume (he is hard of hearing) and hear his books on CD. The rest of us to not have to listen when he has the volume up high!

Mediocre product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a pair of Sony Noise cancelling for the last 8 years, one of the speakers went out on me, so I needed a new set. These fell so short of my expectations. The noise cancelling is non-existent, and the sound quality of the audio is very mediocre. Not what I expect from Sony. I know the cost is low for noise cancelling, but the last pair of Sony headphones I had was about the same price, and worked extremely well.

OK sound, but broke on the first day!

Got them home, threw the battery in, plugged in the iPod...and, the right side speaker went out after 5 minutes!! Tried toggling the on/off for the noise cancelling, but nope, it's dead. Goind to return for a better set.
