I purchased them on sale, and for less than $50, the sound is fairly decent. I've noticed the sound does depend on what the headphones are connected to at the time. Samsung Galaxy phone, decent sound. Apple MacBook Pro listening to Audible, very good sound. Good choice if you want decent sound and something better than earbuds.
