I love this console way better than the ps3. So modern and sleek.

First off, We all know PS4 is more powerful than XB1. There's no arguing that fact nor is there ANY kind of debate. Anyone who says XB1 is more powerful is either a liar or just upset and bent out of shape that they made the wrong choice and bought the wrong console. Anyone who reads the specs of both, and STILL buys the XB1, all I can do is SMH. I was TRULY going to wait for the PS4 slim that's being announced at E3 this year which is said to have hardware upgrades coming which include a SATA III motherboard and SSD. Sure, you can put a SSD in there now but since the PS4 is SATA II, you won't benefit from the full speed of an SSD which makes putting in a SSD a waste of money. If you're planning on upgrading the HDD, just stick with a regular spindle driver. Either get a HGST 1TB 7200 RPM or get the Samsung Seagate Momentus SpinPoint which is a 2TB 5400RPM drive. Both of those are EXCELLENT choices for upgrading your PS4's hard drive. IMO, I would go with the 1TB ONLY because I'm not a fan of Seagate even if Samsung did buy them. They have the HIGHEST failure rate out of ALL hard drives. I also would want the 7200 RPM over 5400RPM. Also don't listen to people saying that a 7200RPM drive will create more heat. I mean yeah it will but no where near enough to even worry about it. IMPORTANT: The PS4 suffers from the same stock garbage thermal paste as the PS3 did. Sony still is cutting corners in that area so it's VERY WISE to consider taking apart your PS3 / PS4 and changing out that garbage with some Arctic Silver 5. I'm planning on doing that within in the next 3 months as people are reporting half dried up paste right out of the box as I know people who took it apart before even plugging it in. Yes, this will void you warranty but I rather have a out of warranty PS4 running cooler and better than a in warranty overheating even if it's only starting to overheat. Why make your PS4 struggle and work harder to stay cooler? Once you put in Arctic Silver 5, you won't need to do it again for at least 3 years. However, the stock paste I wouldn't trust for more than 6 months of casual usage, trust me. I did this to a few PS3s and I noticed a HUGE different right away. Just Google PS3 or PS4 thermal paste, and you'll find TONS of info about it, I'm not the first one to mention this, it's known by a lot of people. Anyway, I have my PS4 for about 5 full days now and I absolutely LOVE IT. I mean I know I would always get the PS4 over the XB1 but the feeling of knowing I bought the more powerful gaming console just puts a huge smile on my face. Sure, the XB1 is a great entertainment console but when it comes to pure gaming which is what someone buys these for, the PS4 runs CIRCLES around the XB1. Again, if someone tries to tell you otherwise, they CLEARLY own the XB1 and are simply defending it, are liars, or are just upset they made the wrong choice. Are you on the fence about which console to buy? DON'T BE, there's NO COMPARISON. The PS4 is the BETTER CHOICE. It's more powerful!!! XB1 can't even run COD Ghosts in 1080p, a game that uses a 10 YEAR OLD ENGINE but PS4 can no problem at a clean 60FPS. Same things goes for PES, XB1 is 720p, PS4 is 1080p. People even tried to blame the developer for making it 720p on XB1 and 1080p on PS4 but why would any game designer want their game to run weaker on one console and better on the other? Simple, they DON'T but they HAD NO CHOICE because the XB1 just can't handle it so the had to settle for 720p on XB1. Also, who wants to snap TV on the side of the screen when they're gaming? Totally useless feature. Also, not to mention you can't even stream Netflix without having a GOLD membership. Sure, you need Playstation Plus to play online with the PS4 but you don't need it to watch Netflix or any other service like it. That's just silly that you pay for Netflix, you spend $400-$500 on a XB1, you pay $50-$80 for internet per month but you can't stream Netflix without GOLD. TERRIBLE! Buy the PS4, and pay yourself on the back for buying the superior console. The console that also has better games. The console that BLOWS the XB1 away. Even the WII U is AHEAD of XB1 in sales. That ALONE tells you enough about the XB1. Have a great day!

I got the Playstation 4 system bundle including a choice of 1 of four digital download games. The four games to choose from were Little Big Planet, NBA 2k15, Farcry 4 and Destiny. I chose Farcry 4, but I get the feeling I would have been happy with any of the four games. The bundle was on sale for $349.99 and I couldn't pass that up seeing as how everywhere else was selling non-bundled PS4s for $50 more. I've had a few weeks to play with the system and it's as advertised. There are some kinks here and there as I would expect in the early going of the generation with all of the systems, but overall I am happy with it. As an example, I expected the loading times to be exponentially better, and for the most part they are better, but I feel the system has the ability to take this further as there are times where you are waiting for something to load kind of wondering why it's taking so long. The system allows you to play as you are downloading or installing games, so once they are done with the initial download and install, it does seem to be a lot better. The graphics are easily better as well, but I expect some games will take this system to it's limits like the later releases on the PS3, and that's when we will be blown away. The only thing I haven't really tried is a sports game like Madden or 2k15, but I'm excited to see how much better they look and feel. This is worth the $400 pricetag is comes with, but if it should drop again at any point, I would definitely recommend jumping on it.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to drop a large chunk of cash on a new system... and then I realized that most new games would be releasing on the PS4, with mediocre ports to PS3. I decided to buy myself a Christmas present and I'm glad I did. This thing improves on everything I found annoying about the PS3... it will charge your controllers while in sleep mode, you can plug headsets in to the controllers... the graphics are amazing of course. I'm glad I made the leap!

This is a great system. Great games that won't be beaten in a day or a week and then forgotten. Graphics are amazing; sound is everything you would want. The hack of the Sony system did cause us to not be able to download the game on Christmas Day, but as we had also purchased a game that wasn't a problem and the download was accomplished a few days later. My brother has been wanting a new gaming system since his previous Playstation gave out on him about a month ago, decided to get him this specific bundle because he wanted the NBA 2k15 game as an extra and it was included as one of the free download choices. He loves this and got to setting it up straight out of the box! No problems with it so far!

I've always been a Sony Playstation fan and was a bit skeptical about jumping in and buying the new ps4. After playing for over a week I am more than satisfied with this purchase. The graphics and game play are awesome but the only draw back is that now you have to buy a Playstation Plus membership to play online (which really isn't that bad with all the perks you get like games and discounts etc.) Overall a great system and worth every penny.

Wanted to purchase a new system for the kids ages 9-25. The set up is a little entailed, but the kids love all the games and graphics. I like that I can set parental controls for each user and know they will be playing only approved games.

Great system. I had an xbox one for a year and bought 4 games the whole time i had it. Couldnt find any games that interested me. I find the ps4 has better games for adults AND kids. I have already purchased more games for the ps4 and there are about 10 games coming soon that look good too. Store 581 Mays Landing has the best managers!

After waiting a year from it's initial release I was finally ready this week to upgrade from my PS3. I chose the "Four Games, One Pick" offer at my local store and am so glad I did. Stamped on the receipt was a code for a free download of "Killzone:Shadow Fall", and inside the box was an additional code for another game download. I chose "Destiny" as my free download. The graphics on "Killzone" alone make the investment worthy-this game looks incredible on my 47" LED. For parents picking this up for their kids for the holidays, keep in mind the free game offers are redeemable through DOWNLOAD ONLY; the console does not come with game discs! High speed internet required!

Had a PS3 for over three years. I'm glad I waited to get the PS4. Downloads are fast, it's easy to navigate, and games play amazing. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The pick-one bundle is great, too. I got Far Cry 4 and it's amazing. I would wait until there is a special, because I got this bundle for $349.99

The graphics are great, some games amazing (MGS). The new controller is OK. The touchpad just becomes an extra button or 2 in most games. I wish it acted like a mouse, at least on the home screen and web browser. Love that I can control it from my phone with the PlayStation App. The best part is the party mode. My brother and I were chatting while going in and out of games, like we were in the same room. Not a big fan of the new home screen UI, prefer PS3's XMB (No Folders ... seriously Sony)

I've been wanting one forever and have always had a Playstation since I was a little kid. I've all the Playstation systems except the vita. I love all them and the graphics are amazing! They keep getting more and more realistic!

I was able to pick up this bundle when it was on sale for $350 plus tax. I already had Far Cry 4 and Destiny for my xbox one so I ended up picking NBA 2k15 as my free game. Installation was a breeze and the machine runs great is very quiet. Really glad I picked this up.

My kids had an old wi system and many of their friends had PS4 or XBOX. I asked them which system they wanted having played both and they opted for the PS4 over XBOX. They are very happy with it, graphics are excellent.

The playstation 4 is the best system. I like how PlayStation has the owner have the master account and then the kids have a "sub-account". This seems easier to understand especially when there are non-techie fathers trying to set up the system for their kids.

Sony advertised the PS4 as a gaming system. They weren't kidding because this is exactly what the PS4 is. I bought this to play games, and it's doing a great job. All the entertainment app like Netflix work find, but if you're someone that only wants to play games, the PS4 is the right console for you.

Your money will be worth spent plus the free game of your choice can't beat this deal. Hands down the best graphics I have seen yet. I would definitely recommend the PS4!!!
