Always used PS store cards to download games. Never had a problem with it. It is the same as the regular disc. Just I avoid clutter of having cases with discs.

After the psn was hacked, i no longer felt safe to store my credit card on there. I started buying these $20 cards when i need to DL any game i want. Best part is that i always combine my $5 reward certificates and get them for cheaper

Due to the security issues with PSN, I do not provide credit card information to Sony. Purchasing these cards 1) prevents me from having to do so and still purchase digitally and 2) gives Best Buy reward points !

Worked as intended, PSN currency. Pretty sure these are the only way to buy PS3 games on PSN now too. Makes for a good gift.
