After the breach in 2011, I refuse to use my cards to buy stuff on PSN or XBox. I only use PSN cards to buy things from the PS Store, because I don’t have to risk my account information being hacked.

Pretty straightforward, really. Buy the card, redeem it, buy stuff on PSN. The only thing that bothers me about PSN is that you can't just pay the price for the item that you want. If something is $6, you have to put at least $10 on your account to purchase it. Then you're left with $4 on the account which you have to wait to spend or waste buying something that you may not have been all that interested in. No other online game service works this way, and it makes no sense other than to make Sony more money.

What can you say? Got this as a birthday gift for my son, he's always using these to download online games, specially vintage ones. So if you own a Playstation 3 or 4, get these and it expands your gaming world without having to load a disc.
