Got this for my Brother for his Birthday great gift

A birthday gift for my grandson. He loves playing his PS5.

I purchased this through the Best Buy app. The user friendly app made the transaction go extremely smooth without any problems. I was sent notifications as to the status of my order and where it was during transit as well as when it was delivered. It was delivered quickly and was a 5 star transaction all around.

Bought this $100.00 gift card, took it home and applied it to my PlayStation account for $100.00 credit. I typically buy gift cards because I like putting credit on my account for future purchases when I have spare cash for later in case a game goes on sale that I would like and I do not have cash then. However, this time I bought it to pre-purchase Monster Hunter World because when you pre-purchase on the PS Store with store credit, it takes the fund out immediately, whereas if you buy with a credit card it does not charge until the game is released. Obviously I wanted to go on and pay for this game while I have the extra cash so I know it is done and taken care of, and this gift card worked exactly as it advertises.

Great customer service, the gentleman who helped me out was more than helpful! He even gave me some tips on setting up my sons account and told me about the PSN app.

Though a PlayStation Plus subscription is needed for online gaming features on the PS4, the value of the subscription is remarkable. It is something I've used happily on PS3 and plan to continue using indefinitely. There will be a total of six games made available to you, rotated monthly, across all PlayStation hardware (three titles each for PS3, PSV, and PS4). You would have to be a very picky gamer to not feel that this would pay for itself over the course of a year. Everything made available to you through the subscription is licensed to you for the life of the subscription. Speaking from personal experience, if you choose not to auto-renew, all games that were available to you during your subscription will be available again even if there is a gap in your subscription .

I am in the Best Buy Gamers Club and when BB buys back your games it gives store credit, not cash. That is fine because I just end up buying BB games and equipment anyway. I end up paying as much for my games as those who rent their games. The club is $30 for 2 years, but since I buy games, sell them back for nearly what I paid and buy new games with that store credit, it ultimately saves me loads of money. When there are no games I want at the time of buy back, I often just purchase PS Store credits and then put the money on my PS Wallet. If you buy a lot games and electronics, you can get a lot out of the Gamers Club and credit transfers from BB to PS. Hopefully, someone will get something of value out of this review/hint for saving money on games. :)

Received a mystery rewards email that required going into the store. "Won" $5, so I got this $10 PSN half-off. Pretty neat deal if you ask me. Card worked great, btw. Think I bought Life is Strange or something with the funds. Good times were had...well still are being had. Actually not really, I can't figure out how to get the second episode to download (I bought the full game), so I guess it's caused me a bit of stress and that wouldn't have happened had I not had got this card since I wouldn't had bought the game then. Doesn't really matter at the moment though, cuz I just got FF XV and anticipate being occupied with that for some time, so maybe that whole episode 2 thing will figure itself out by the time I get back around to it.
