The PSN card for $10 dollars is just that, the card if you haven't used gift cards and things of that nature, allow you to purchase items online through Playstation Network. The great thing about it is, unlike Microsoft they have cheap cards for people looking for something small.

I got lucky this time. I've had a history of scratching to hard or using my nail instead of a coin. These cards are delicate. However, when used properly, have easy entry into a PS3, PSP, PS Vita, or PS4 system. The card is universal so funds can be split between systems if desired.
