The free games make it worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for $39 on sale for a 1 year (12 month) membership instead of $49 and i really enjoy the free games and discounts I receive from it. I am a PS3 owner so I don't "have to have it" to be able to play online so getting this is completely optional for me. But i choose to get it because in the long run it really is a good value and saves me a lot of money since the games i get for free can be played by any of the other house hold members WITHOUT having to pay for PS+ for each additional account that is on my PS3. (On PS4 each account needs a PS+ membership to be able to play online just like xbox live gold so it can get costly if you have more than 1 gamer in your house)
