If you enjoy playing multiplayer games without having everyone hoarded in your room to play, then the Playstation Plus membership is good for you. If you have a PS4, you MUST have this membership to do anything online with it. The benefits of it aren't bad either. You get good deals on it sometimes in the online store and there is at least one free game download a month with it. However, the only downside is not being able to use it when Sony's servers are down.

With the amount of free games you get, this becomes more than worth it. You also need it to play online, so why not get some free games alongside.

I recently became a Best Buy reward zone member and then I saw the deal for PlayStation Plus for $40 for 12 months. In the fist month of PS+ I have gotten over $100 worth of games, themes, and profile pictures for free. I had known about the benefits of PS+ for some time now, but I hesitated to sign up for it thinking it was a waste of money. Man was I completely wrong. PS+ is worth the full $50 but with the Best Buy deal I feel like I got one great bargain. All PS3 owners should sign up for PS+ and if your planning on getting the PlayStation 4, you will need it to play online, but don't worry, PS+ will carry over to the PS4 as well and with Sony giving out free games every month, (Year old games, not 3-4 year old games), it is one amazing deal.

I got these on sale from Best Buy and you couldn't beat the price! Great addon for using the PS3. Tons of little perks and free downloads. Some of the free game downloads are kind of old but overall still pretty good
