You can't have a ps4 with out it. You get you money's worth in just a few months. Go to your ps store. Then go to you ps plus section. Every month the have free game. You don't have to download them right then an there. Just add it to your library. When you feel like playing it you have stored away for a rainy day. Even if you don't think you will like the game it doesn't hurt to add to your library. You never know. You also get discounts on the ps store. The best buy is the year subscription. You save a lot of money.

You have to purchase these in order to play certain games on PS4. How do you review something like this without using disparaging remarks?

PlayStation Plus is gods if you want to play multiplayer games with other people online. It's also good that you get free games every month

PS plus is worth it for the free monthly games alone. You theoretically could never need to buy a game as long as you're subscribed

I am not a huge fan of having to pay to play online but the extra games you can get and the fun of playing with others do make it worth it

If you want to play online or get free games each month. Plus is the only way! I personally enjoy using it and am happy with my purchase!

Kinda sucks you have to pay for online gaming now but ps+ is a decent service offering free games every month across all sony platforms.

My 10 yr old son seems to like the card. It give him ability to play free games. No complaints from him so I believe this is a good buy.

If you are a member you get free games and discounts on games. Also, needed for most multiplayer online games. Kind of a no brainier.

Got it for $40 so that was a huge plus. Wish it could drop to $30 like the XBox Live cards do

Playstation 3 owners without Playstation Plus are missing out. This is one, if not definitely, the best programs around for gamers. While some of the features seem like they should be free for the playstation, such as automatic updates and installations, the real reason to become a plus member is the instant game collection. Each month you receive three titles for the PS3, two titles for the PS Vita and an occasional game for the PS4. January 2014 is starting off with a very strong month giving gamers Bioshock Infinite, DmC and Two Brothers for the PS3. While some months are better than others, it's still always been worth being a PS Plus member. Oh... And did I mention the killer sales?

Bought this membership for my nephew. Depending on the line up of free games offered next year by Sony, this could be boon or bust.

However that is what it has come down to. We now have to pay to play, and the codes work fine when you go to use it at the PSN store.

The only i could say because it's only a card. Is that price little expensive when PlayStation network they have errors often times.

yes, there are other options to play online, but this is the official common way to do it. A bit pricey, but in the end, worth it.
