I hate that you need to pay extra to use the PS4 for online play, but at least Best Buy has these on sale once in a while.

Well, what can I say, this is pretty much a Sony money grab. You need PS Plus to take advantage of lots of in game features, so you are kind of forced to buy this. There are a fair number of free games available with the membership, and the available games change regularly. The free games are not anything super special, but fun to play, and I never would have tried them if they were not free with PS Plus.

Playstation Plus subscription is a must have for all PS3 owners, you constantly get discounts and free games. Pick up a subscription card and you are on your way to some great gaming.

While network is working its a must have. But dont expect to get full features on holiday. Usually ps network goes down

I got this to take advantage of free and discounted games. Not as much to pick from as i had hoped but still nice to have.

Wow this piece of cardboard allowed me to enable my PS+ membership for a year. That's like cool and stuff I guess. But besides that I have no other thing to review about a PS+ card.

I just wish it came with a free 1 month , that would of been better since you are purchasing the annually membership .

The PlayStation Plus membership offers access to solid, not great games. The 12-month membership is worth the price.

What can I say if I have to pay for Internet service for ps4 better to buy this card for 49$ than to pay 10 monthly

I brought the ps4 bundle for my 13 yr old and decided to get the online which was a great combination gift. He loved it!

I really like my new scull candy Bluetooth speaker.it sounds great and supra singly last a long time with a full charge.

You need it to play games online. 50$ a year isn't bad tho. These cards expire around two years so plan accordingly

PS+ offers a great selection of "free" games throughout the year. Because of PS+ I have discovered many hidden gems.

OK so now we have to pay to play multiplayer, which is dumb because it was free before. And if you're paying $60 for a game like Call of Duty Ghosts, why would you need to pay more for multiplayer? It's part of the $60 game you purchased. Ignoring that fact, it's great that Sony includes a lot of free games each month with the PSN. The first week of the launch of PS4, it was down for like 24 hours , then a few days later again. The maintenance weekly. Very annoying when paying now each month (or yearly depending on how you pay) Overall, the free games make it worth it. Pay it for the year at once and you forget about it.

Most of us in the Gaming world knew that with the birth of the PS4, our days of free online multiplayer ability was coming to an end. With the numerous problems surrounding the PSN in the past, the only logical step was to go the route Microsoft chose to with the xbox, an annual subscription service. I've had the PS4 and Playstation Plus now for 2 months, and I have to say, the value is pretty impressive. Last week PS+ members could download GRID2, a game that currently sells for $40 new, for free! There are numerous games you can download for free, and so far I feel the experience has been enjoyable, and of good value.

Ps+ membership is expensive. However, there is no doubt that you need it if you play games online.

While i got this on sale during Black Friday I would have still gotten it at full price. You get all kinds of free games and it is hands down better service than Xbox Live.
