Need it to pay online gaming on the ps4 but the upside is that you get exclusive free games and it crosses platforms

I recently sold my Xbox 360 in order to put money down for my Playstation 4. I just want to say that Microsoft should have picked up on Sony's idea a long time. For the years of the lifecycle of Xbox, I was spending 50$ just to play online! JUST TO PLAY ONLINE! Sony on the other hand from the get go has offered me free game after free game every month and I couldnt be happier. Why I didnt go with PS3 last gen amazes me. If you are in the market for a new Console, you wont be disappointed in Sony's new PS4 and if you are looking to get free games every month for one great annual price then PS Plus is it! Get it!

Now I can play online gaming :) PlayStation Network needs some improvement or atleast be equivalent to Xbox live

a must have to play multi-player games online. sony has a lot of content when you connect to ps4 network. Great

I mainly bought this for extra discounts on PS3 games and to get free games. It has already paid for itself twice.

very Bestbuy when on sale but that is rare. i rather get this whit my earn points so i can pay less well worth it

This is a must buy for PS4 in order to play online. Kind of wish they would have it for a little bit cheaper.

The monthly free games and discount let this item pay for itself. I will say this won't be beneficial for everyone.

Never bought PSN membership before not glad they have input this into the system. Like Xbox live. But it's not bad

As opposed to the 3 month subscription for $17.99, this option is cheaper and the pro would be the 12-month.

PlayStation Plus is far superior than Xbox gold. few guaranteed game each month. new and old, indie and mainstream. great subscription. The only trick to it, understandably, you can only have access to your redeemed "free downloadable game" if you have a current PlayStation plus subscription.. completely reasonable. 50$ a year and at least 12 games per month is not bad at all. Few big titles that were "free games"- Uncharted Borderlands/Borderlands 2 Infamous 2 Saints Row 3 etc etc

Cost is negligible for what you get...free games and great discounts. The service is top notch and adds new freebies monthly. Wide variety of games to suit any gamer.

Ps plus membership is awesome. Free games and discounts. But it is required to play any online games with ps4

Must have for PlayStation owners. Little pricey, but cheaper than Xbox. Does come with free DLC monthly.

When you become a PlayStation Plus member. You get a ton of benefits along with it. Online game benefits with first party SONY games like extra levels, items, gear, characters, etc. You also will be apart of SONY's monthly free games service, Which every month SONY has a selection of free games for the PS4, PS3 & PS Vita for you to download and enjoy absolutely for free as long as you are a PS Plus Subscriber. There is a 3 month & 30 day membership as well but if you are an advid gamer & going in it for the long haul I'd recommend the year subscription.

The ps plus is great to have if you are a playstation 3 owner. Sony usually gives different deals every month at a huge discount on games for being a ps plus member.

The quality of the free games given out each month makes this a worthwhile purchase. If you have a PS4 and plan on playing games online, this is also a necessity.
