You obviously have to have PlayStation Plus if you want to play most games online but that is far from the only benefit. You'll have your membership paid for in a month or two just because of all the free stuff you get each month with your membership and that's not including the discounts. This is a must have and even if it wasn't it would still be worth it. Who doesn't love free or discounted games along with tons of other stuff to choose from? Thanks for reading!

Love the ability to down load games and play with other players at my level.

The 12 month subscription allows for downloading of online games and demo's.

It's nice to play demos of games before you buy them. I can download free games and play them. If I don't have enough room for a new game I can delete an old game and redownload it later from my download list without loosing that game. The kids love it too. There are weekly games for free. I can test a lot of games and never have to buy another game as long as I pay the $50 fee for the year and the last three years I have been buying it on sale for $40. Can't beat that.

Got this on black friday for $30. PS Plus gives you free games every month! PS Plus also required for multiplayer gaming on PS4.

The days of ps3 free online play is over. The PlayStation Plus membership is absolutely essential for PS4 to receive the most from your games. Most people say for example gta5 offline was just a prelude to what all online options there are to to play. SO SO MUCH MORE CONTENT FROM GAMES ARE UNLEADED WITH THE PLUS MEMBERSHIP. If u can afford it go for the year membership. I was able to find it $10 cheaper at BEST BUY RATHER THAN PSN STORE. A true must have.

Well I bought it thinking all kinds of games and perks would be available and when I entered my code and checked I only found a few dumb games for free.. I haven't found out why else to buy it.. Kind of sounds like a way to rip people off for more money... From the maker not best buy that is.. Best buy is cool
