This is a good service to an extent. I know a lot of people who have paid for plus since it was first offered. At full price it is too much in my opinion and I wouldn't buy it. Now, with it being required for ps4 online play I have no choice. Look around for a better deal, with 2 systems (and each requiring plus separately so that others can play) I purchased 3 years for 35 ea. and got another bundled with a system at full price. I'm not happy about the full price one. I only purchased this because it's required. I could do without the "free" games.

Bought this as deal of the day which made it that much more better. I did have a problem with my first delivery. Had it re-shipped without a problem. I would have picked up in store but option was not available. Not sure why Best Buy stopped doing digital download but that would have been a better option as well.

What is there really to say about this since it is required to play online games on the PS4. I rarely use the free games that if give you but my kids have fallen in love with a few of them. I prefer to purchase these at best buy because it earn point for purchase and it supports local store.

Great to have for PS3 but a must have for PS4 since it's the only way you'll be able to play multiplayer. The free monthly games are pretty good

if you were to compare the playstation plus to xbox live i feel that you get more out of playstation plus. you get free games every month and rewards for being a plus member plus past free games that you have downloaded can be saved in a virtual file to be downloaded and played again so long as you are still a playstation plus member. the only problem i have is that it is still using the playstation network which is ify at best. constant disconnects and variable connection speeds cause problems with video streaming and multiplayer game play.

I only bought this to be able to play Star Wars Battlefront and that's a lot of fun online. Haven't looked into all the free games you can get but that seems like a good perk!

This is no different in my opinion from a Xbox live account, and putting in your code to activate is such a breeze on the PS4. If I had my way, I would certainly offer these a little bit longer than 12 months at a discounted price, just so someone doesn't have to remember when its time to get another card.

Instead of auto-renew, I opt for the prepay option and buy on my own terms. Was able to use my Rewards Certificate of $10 towards my purchase. Rewards were expired and called customer service and they reinstated my certificate that instant and saved $10 on a 12 month membership. Easy

I did not has this membership for PS3 because I thought it was not worth it. However It is needed for the PS4 if you want to play online so I got it and I am very pleased. Not only does it let you play online but also provides free content and games for being a member. Great perks to having a subscription.

Great option to obtain games for "free" with purchase of card/service. I've been a paying member for a couple years and been able to build up my gaming library with this feature from SONY. Recommended, especially if you can get it at a reduced price(although the full price is cheap to pay for what you get)

I was skeptical about my son gaming online but in actuality it gives him more time with his friends from school, friends from elementary and middle school (he's in high school now), his cousins and uncles so in reality he doesn't have to be out of the house to hang out with them.

After purchasing this card, I thought It would be a good idea to begin my year subscription at the start of the new year. This will be a good time for me to figure out my finances for future reference. Therefore a year from that date I'll be in a better position to purchasing another PSN card at Best Buy.

This is a membership program done right. For $50 a year you get free games and discounts on more games every month. The best part is that the games are newer games and you do not have a 15 day time frame to download the game in order to keep it. As long as you are a member, you have access to the games.

The PlayStation Plus 12-Month Subscription Card makes for a worthwhile enhancement to the PS3. The free games and demos alone are worth it for the price of admission. The subscription can also be used for anybody fortunate enough to be getting a PS4 where it will be required for online multiplayer games.

there is really no review needed here. The card is exactly what it is suppose to be. Came with 12 months loaded. This card allows access to the playstation network, and gives you free games each month, and allows your game saves to be saved to the cloud. Also great price.

this is a great buy for someone who doesn't play all the time. it gets you free downloads on a monthly basis for games. lets you try 1-hour free trials on others. great way to see what games are out there and what you might like without dropping $60 and being disappointed.

In order to play on the PlayStation network you will need PlayStation Plus, much like Xbox Live is to Xbox. Usually there will be discounts for 39.99 for the 12 month subscription or even cheaper for 29.99 during Black Friday deals but you can't go wrong with paying only 39.990

Got this card on discount for a promotion. Exactly what they advertised and I was able to pick it up in-store the day of. No need to wait for shipping! Other thoughts: Wish they could offer a digital way to receive the code, thus eliminating the need to go to the store or wait for delivery altogether.

We are now in the era of having to pay for online gaming. Unfortunately, the costs have gone up another $10.00. I purchased this while they were still at $49.99 now the price is $59.99. Easy to use, just scratch of the back and punch the code in and you have another year.
