They need to focus on fixing a lot of issues that end up causing the end user more problems. They instead just take this fee and give you "free" games.

I saw the sale for 39.99. I then saw a competitior ad that was 10 dollars cheaper. Best Buy price matched. I then had a birthday 5 dollar gift code from best buy to make it even cheaper. With the best buy policies and perks, it made the price of this item affordable.

Great idea for anyone looking to set up a game collection, quick and easy without ever having to leave home if you have fast internet, it also works with your ps3 and ps vita and ps4 systems for one low price!

Was able to get this 12 months PS plus subscription at a discounted price in September. After 2 months of free games from the Instant game collection I feel I have already gotten my moneys worth. Looking forward to the next 10 months of free games from the service.

Honestly, I will be buying these instead of the monthly membership cards. This gives you the peace of mind (atleast until the next year) of knowing your service will be available barring any updates or downloads needed to keep it running smoothly.

This is a product in which you buy knowing what you're buying. Unless not activated right, it can't go wrong. You put in the code, you get a year of Playstation+. Simple. The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel Sony could've made it easier to input the code, like using a scanner it camera to read the code or Barcode, especially with the Playstation app.

I caught this on sale and it is a good value. It allows you access to extra content and free games monthly that you can play. You could also save them and use them when the PS4 comes out because they are saying you will have to pay a fee like Xbox to play online supposedly.

This is a great deal. For fifty bucks you can get tons of free games off of PSN. You just have to keep renewing every year to keep the free games. Also for having PS+ you get discounts on games. Discounted games that you purchase you can keep even if your PS+ runs out.

Good service for people that play multiplayer / online games, many discounts for purchase games but Sony ONLY release 1 game for PS4 and like 3-5 for PS3, I don't understand why they don't give priority for they New Product, overall a good necessary purchase product.

I needed to renew my Playstation Plus membership. Thought I would pick this up while I was in the store. It was actually $10 cheaper than doing it through Sony when I went in to redeem. Great deal. Will always purchase my renewals from Best Buy.

Plus membership is a must have if you want to be able to play with other people online. Cant really complain about the item. It has a code that you type into the playstation and you are good to go. Would be cool if bestbuy had digital codes too!

It is one of those things that you cannot live without if you plan to game online. I am part of the gamers' club, so I pay a little less than the regular price. It also gives you access to exclusive PS Plus games and extended demos each month.

I have both an xbox live, and a PS plus account. I must say the PS is way better hands down. Sony gives you soooooo many free games (download) a year. It's insane! I can't recommend their subscription service enough! My gamer tag on either system is igod69m2, add me :)

I read reviews before I purchased making sure others were able to redeem the code. It ended up working but I had to call customer service a few times because they activated the wrong card. Other than that everything works and you save $10.

I love playstation but i hate they pulled the same crud xbox did making required to have an extra to pay for to get online play. I get it requires them to pay tech support people and stuff but the free games more often than not arent good for me.

Playstation Plus is required to play online games, which is a huge part of the PS4. However, it also comes with a great selection of games for free every month. I look forward to the next "Rocket League" and finding new and exciting games to play.

The membership was very easy to install, each of my boys were installing theirs at the same time though, so it did take quite a bit longer because they were both using internet at the same time, once one was done, the other one went quite quickly

P+ is very useful to get to play good games for free. List changes monthly. Also on ps4 it is needed to play online.

I usually wait to purchase the Playstation Plus membership when it's on sale. I got mine for 34.95, original price 49.95. I'm sure I'll be able to get another deal within the year or I'll have enough points to use my reward zone certificates to save on this item again.

Give it time...SONY was reluctant to dive head first into the online platform, & so they were under prepared for the sheer numbers of early adopters who are playing online. They don't have the server support to tackle the masses just yet, but that's why we're now paying a premium for internet access...so they can fix that problem. I fully expect them to catch up sooner than later, & free games each month help to ease the pain. The free games alone make it worth the buy.
