The price of these cards has gone up to $59.99 but they still have stock of cards that are$49.99. Great thing to have for online gaming and free games monthly.

Playstation Plus is required for online play. This is necessary. However each month you have access to free games and discounts on other titles. Highly recommended.

Not much to really say about this item. If you are familiar with microsoft gold account for the xbox, this is not any different. You have to have an annual membership to play online games with ps4 and xbox360/one. This membership is only $50 compared to microsoft's $60 a year membership, unless you find it on sale at a second party dealer.

Well, you need this to play online. Don't be cheap and just get the yearly subscription. If you're saving up for a Ps4, you can save up some more to buy this. Don't be a broke joke

Got it for $30 at Christmas time. If you are at all interested in playing games on the playstation network, this is a great way to grow your library with free and reduced priced games.

this card allows you to download many free games, but unfortunately there are too many war and killing games and NONE of the original games like PS1 & PS2 games..... THAT would be fun

I think that this should probably just come with the PS4, but it's a great service to be signed up for if you want early access to betas and to download some of the great PSN games.

Firstly Sony offers selected free games for you to download monthly if you have the membership, but not always the games are good. Also you get to save your data in the cloud server.

I searched in store but could not find any 12 month cards. So I ordered it online and picked up in store. One of the easiest and most convenient purchase made this year.

If your a gamer at all you are going to need this to able to play the game you want to. Plus there some good bonuses that come with it when you check the online store.
