I picked this up simply because I needed to renew my subscription. It was on sale which is the best time buy. Whenever you find this on sale you should hop on it.

To this day I am a firm believer that services like Xbox Live and PS+ are simply a tax on gamers. I don't understand why we must pay to play and online game that we already purchased. I wish both companies would just do away with these services and offer online gameplay for free. Sadly that isn't happening anytime soon. With that being said, PS+ can be a real value. Every month subscribers receive new free games to download. Honestly the service pays for itself since Sony is really good about actually giving away GOOD free games. My only complaint is that PS+ is required to play online on the PS4. If Sony would make online multiplayer free and offer PS+ as an option to save on games, I'd be much more favorable of the service.

The Playstation Plus 12 month card is a must have for any playstation owner. This is required to play games online so having playstation plus makes a lot of sense.

The subscription to the network is understandable... but $50 after paying $500 for the gaming system and then $60 a game is a little excessive.

Anyone who enjoys playing online multiplayer games must have this membership. The free games throughout the year make up for a bulk of the cost of the membership.

I really enjoy online gaming and you have to get PS Plus to do so on a PS4, also the free PS plus games are getting better so overall I think it's a good value.

The best time to purchase these cards is when they go on sale for $39.99. If you rack up rewards with GCU or $10 certs from preorders, I'd put it towards this.

I love buying this with best buy because I only like to buy from retailers i can trust. PSN has been breached and I dont feel safe making any purchase on there.
