If you own a ps4, this is almost mandatory in order to play multi-player. This enables me to play with my family that lives across the country.

The playstation plus membership is worth the money. you get discounts on game digitally if thats your thing and you get free games every month.

It's definitely a better deal to get this full year membership than any of the other deals. Although I don't like the idea of having to pay to play online, at least this works well and PS Plus does provide you with 2 free games every month for this membership, which is a nice perk.
