It gives you 12 months of PSN+ I just wish PSN+ itself was better. The free games are terrible, the network is slow, and Sony doesn't make Multiplayer games

unfortunately you need this to play online...even though most if not all games are peer to peer Sony magically makes you think they do something to allow you to play online, simple cash grab for Sony, the free monthly games are typically side scrolling platformers and bland as all can be, once a year maybe twice you get some halfway decent game you could just but for the 60$ this costs per year. only recommend if u HAVE to play online or need it for your game

Sure this gives you the ability to play multiplayer online and stuff but, these PS4 free games suck, and the messaging system sucks and omg its so called customizing

I only got this because it came with the ps4 package but I made a terrible decission getting this because all the games seem to be small old Japanese or weird cheesy anime games that have never been sold in stores. I don't even understand how sony has these unknown games on the playstation network ,It feels like sony just put all the games nobody ever wanted to play all in one folder and charges it's people to use them. Most of these games are literally worthless . I gaurantee nobody actually plays them.

Not happy we upgraded from PS3 to PS4 and now we have to pay to go online. It was reason we chose PSN products vs others. Now you have to pay to play! Bad move PSN

Great platform for gaming but could be a multiple players in a little bit cheaper too expensive for customers or kids the ones to play online .

PS in general seems slow compare to Xbox. Never had issues. I have to wait to play games and it gets annoying. Also found this cheaper online on groupon I believe.

Have yet to see any real use for it as I play most one player games and the free games just don't seem that good, hopefully it gets better.

Was nothing what I expected! It's great that you have free games on there but even then you still have to pay for them!

I purchased this as a gift for my son and he has had trouble installing the codes and having finding games for his taste

I bought this in the US. The person that I bought it from KNEW I was an international customer as we discussed it at length. It was only when I got back to the UK that I discovered that this was only redeemable in the USA or Canada. Thank you Best Buy for wasting $49 of my money. I spent 25 minutes on the line to your customer services and customer care, but got nowhere with you. Its a disgrace!

I guess I am just a little spoiled because Sony never charged for online play in the past. You gotta pay to play...

There's no benefit right now... Not so many titles released for the PS4...

I bought this a few months ago and since I do not play online...it's pointless

Ps plus used to be the bomb but I really enjoy the PlayStation Now option

It's not right making people pay for online play when it never used to be like that.

You need it to play online I hate that you need to ya more money to ya the ps4 online

If you want to play online you must buy this.The free games you get with this service are not the best and the price does not justify it self. Few perks you get, like online saving, is a feature that should have been included for free. But oh well, no choice, unless you dont like to play online.

best buy customer service was not helpful over the phone and was told the only way to fix it was to go to a best buy store to get a new one. what was the point of getting it shipped and avoiding the a trip to the store if it wasn't going to work and being shipped to my address was delayed and took forever to be delivered
