We did not it have to do this for PlayStation 3 n now we have to for the new system I think its just a big waste of time.. cause its useless to have WiFi and then have to pay something for the game system and its a pain in the rear financially and to enter the the info into the system is not as easy

Playstation found a way to make money. Since the 4 needs it to work.

Its ok but for what my kids use it. Its not worth it.

It is unfortunately in this day and age of playing video games that you have to pay for online experience,considering the amount that you pay for the device and the game itself. I didn't want to have to buy this item but you're forced to in order to have an online experience.

I enjoyed it when PlayStation was free to pay online

one of the things that i really loved about the playstation was that i didn't have to buy this to access online and i hate that i have to spend extra money to play with my friends online.

Personally I don't see why sony is charging extra to be able to play online. With online play being the main attraction for modern gaming, it's foolish to have to pay an extra subscription just to be able to utilize that feature.

I never had PS+ until the ps4 forced me to get it. So far I see no reason why I paid for this. I know the console was released less than 2 months ago, but the lack of content on the psn for ps4 users at this point is ridiculous.

I hate how Sony makes us pay for internet now, that was quite a number. PS now doesn't add all that much to my experience. I'd just like online play to be free again. PS Plus is a necessary evil now to do so.

I went to plug in the number and could not make it out. It looked like the card was old and the numbers came off when I was scratching off to reveal the code

this is an older version on playstion network card and the code wouldnt work. Save yourself a headache and go ahead and get the new one thats $10 dollars more.

We returned to the store three times to finally get an Activation Code that worked for this product. Staff was great, but a big waste of time and energy.

I just got it thinking that I was going to be able to get my games from here but it's no good trying to get my money back to my card

I bought a PlayStation Plus 12-Month Membership but no body told me I can not use it in other country than USA, Canada and Mexico. I live in Colombia.

My husband and I have been buying PS consoles for YEARS... We were very disappointed to learn we had to pay $49.99 for our 2 sons 2 play on-line ):

Like it's not bad enough you have to pay to play online now.... In order for everyone to have their own account you have to pay for each account.

Not a fan of having to buy a membership for the new PlayStation but I still love my PS4.
