It's simple, you need it to game online. The bonus? 6 free games a month (2 @ each platform) some months are better than others

If you own any Sony products this is a must have. PSP, PS3, Vita and PS4 all get free games every month its amazing don't skip this.

I like the product for my children who are serious gamers. As for myself not much of a gamer any longer, but can truly say it's worth every penny with the unlimited downloads while the card is still active. I will continue buying this as long as Sony makes them.

Unfortunately a requirement to enjoy online gaming. However, PlayStation throws in enough extras to make this worth $50 a year.

Bought the GC for my Boyfriend for Xmas. Its better than using your Credit Card especially with all the hacking that seems to occur.

If you do not have this you can't play online so do not forget it. The best part it was half off with the purchase of the PS4.

Playstation Plus is a great program that gives you free and discounted games. The games that are free are not cheap, you would probably never buy games, but actual blockbusters like Uncharted and Bioshock! Also, if you own multiple Playstation systems it makes having playstation plus a no brainer! Hopefully Nintendo can do something like this some day.
