Instead a gift that might get tossed aside might as well buy a playstation membership and you know it will get used. I prefer my kids go out of play but these days with technology it's not as easy to do this before for some kids. As long as you set time limits I think this will work out to be a good gift.

I usually wait to buy my subscription till it goes on sale for $40, but if I couldn't I would still subscribe for full price. The amount of free games you get far outweighs the cost of subscription. Keep in mind though that the free games are only yours to keep as long as your subscription is active

This review is regarding the activation card not the PS+ service itself: The cards are a great way to start or renew a PS+ membership. I started and have renewed my PS+ membership since 2011 using these cards. I have always been able to get them on sale and have never had a problem redeeming them.

This ps4 membership is great to have, especially when you dont want to use auto renew on the credit card online, i usually try to keep my membership up to date before it expires so my cc is not charged. Ps4 blows xbox out of the water, ps4 plus members get great discounts being a plus member.

In a perfect world, you wouldn't have to pay for a service to play games that you've already paid for online with your friends, but this world ain't perfect. Fortunately, Sony softens the blow by offering you a couple of free games every month. These games aren't always good, but sometimes they're fantastic (Rocket League, anyone?) I can't give Ps Plus five stars based on principle, but it's a solid value nonetheless.

As someone who owns a PS3, a PS4, and a PS Vita, I can absolutely say that PS Plus is worth it. The games provided monthly in addition to the discounts to other games are awesome. For PS4, a membership is required for playing online multiplayer features on majority of games, so keep that in mind.

Playstation Plus is definitely a must if you want to get the full game experience. Being able to play online against other people definitely makes your games funner. Playstation Plus also gives you two free games a month and other games at a discounted price, which definitely is a nice perk.

Look at the benefits, such as discounts, consider your lifestyle and how much you buy (and anticipate buying) and it will either be a great idea or the benefits will not be worth the cost. It is like anything else like this (Amazon Prime type thing), it is worth it to you if it is worth it to you.

This will be my second year of PS Plus membership for PS4 and PS Vita games. Its a fantastic deal that keeps your game library stocked with new and interesting games every month for free and includes discounts on other games your purchase from the PS Store. A great value for any Sony platform gamer.

Seriously, if you have a Sony Playstation Product, you'd be crazy not to add Playstation Plus. Free games and discounts every month, you literally will have it pay off within a month of having it.

This is a must when getting the ps4, you get to download two games a month... they are always new so it's a change up. It gives you exclusive offers you'll only get when a member. It's sometimes needed for online gaming... in other words bundle this item with your ps4 when checking out !

I'm super excited that you have to purchase a subscription to play online now, I was spoiled for years with the PS3, but Sony has done a great job at adding some value to these now giving some extra features like early access to games and free content. A necessary evil if you want to play online.

I purchased this sony playstation membership for my adult son for his birthday. After searching online for the best deals I found Best Buy to have the most convenient set up for purchasing both the membership and game together.

Every month they release free games on the ps4, ps3, vita, and psp. its not bad, but its still not on the level that xbox live is. ps3 mp games don't require a psn plus account. the free basic account covers all mp access. the ps4 does require a psn plus account to access most mp features

OK so the past 2 years I've found this at Best Buy on sale for $40 in July, which happens to be my birthday month, so I got it for $35! It's worth the $50 for all the free games that come w/ membership, but I love getting things on sale, and Best Buy has not disappointed! Thanks Best Buy!

I was apprehensive about needing to purchase Playstation Plus for online play with my PS4 (I loved having free PSN access on the PS3), but having PS+ really is integral to the full online PS4 experience. A great suite of perks and features to really enhance your gameplay - well worth it!

With PlayStation Plus, you can upload saves to the cloud for increased security against system issues. Free games each month and of course the online multiplayer. Well worth the 49.99 tag. It is easy to see how Sony is winning this console market with a great online offering and games.

I purchased this on sale when I bought the PS4, While it keeps bring us back to Best Buy we have consistently gotten the best price with Best Buy even after shopping the same titles on line. So far, we have saved probably 10 times the amount of the initial purchase cost of the membership

If you have the full range of PlayStation products, a PS Plus subscription is an excellent deal. The selection of downloadable games for your PS3, PS4 and PS Vita pay for the subscription, and if you want to play online with your PS4 a PS Plus subscription is the only way to do that.

Best membership out there. With this I get free games for the PS4, PS3 and the Vita. You literally make it all back within the first month of subscription always. I have at least 60 games on my PS3 over the years and starting to build a pretty big collection for my PS4 AND Vita.
