Purchased this for a dear friend the day before she passed away in hospice. She kept it next to her in bed and listened to her favorite radio station. Sound quality was good and it was easy to use. Very portable.

I needed a replacement radio for one I've owned around 20 years. I dropped the old one- one too many times. This radio is a suitable replacement. I've been using it for about a month now and it has served well. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a radio for walks or outside work where a radio is not a distraction.

Wanted a little radio to put on my pillow at night to lull me to sleep. This fits the bill!

Bought two of these for the 54 yr. old twins in July. Both liked the low tech radio and the fact that there is a turn wheel to dial in the stations. This radio picked up most of the stations available in their area. Good buy at a good price!

Nice budget portable radio for AM listening. Good sound considering the size. The larger Sony sounds better, but harder to fit in a pocket.

It is hard to find a little am/fm radio that is perfect for the old guy trying to get his perfect sports radio station that does not stream and this fits the bill. It easily fits in his pocket and it picks up his am station that is 300 miles away!!

So....these are clearly not today's technology....and who listens to AM/FM radio any more. But I will say they are very helpful in locating the canine invisible fences buried in your yard. Set it for 600am, lash it to a broom pole, turn it up and wave it across the ground. A sound change indicates where the wire is located. Genius!

This is a great little “transistor” radio. It has a good antenna that pulls in local radio stations well and it’s sound is good too. It’s perfect for listening to local radio in the kitchen or bathroom or while just moving around the house. The price is right too. Recommended product!

Great product; reasonable price. The radio is small enough to carry with you anywhere indoors or outside. Battery life seems to be long - have used it for several hours daily for about a month now and still have not had to change the 2 AA batteries.

I've always loved these radios, never any bad signal, and the sound quality is pretty nice for something so small.

This is exactly what I needed for my daily walks. Picks up local stations just fine.

I bought two for my parents. The radio is well built and the reception is decent. The LED lights up when a station is picked at right frequency, a nice touch. However, the designer or engineer probably never had it tested by an elderly person or a person with arthritis: the button to turn it on and select the band is so small and hard to handle. The old rotating wheel that handles both on/off and volume worked better!

Very good battery powered radio for local stations. Great to have in emergencies.

Purchased for us while walking briskly on treadmill and it works well.
