very good reception and Price the radio sound quality are very good

Great little radio. My kids loved the product. The analog dial for station and the pull out antenna are great features. The speaker can produce some very loud sound for such a small package.

Got this lil radio for my God mother you was in a nursing home. She loved this lilgem of a portable radio, she was able to get her gospel and R&B station. Added some head phones and she was set.

I purchased this small radio to have a solid performer to tune in news and/or weather during autumn storms. Also useful to carry in a tackle box when fishing. AA batteries have much longer working life than a cell phone battery in a real emergency when power lines can go down. This does not have NOAA weather reception, but is nice a small for general listening when away from car radio. It has an earplug jack, and SONY has a good reputation for tuner reception quality. The speaker is small so music listening can be painful, but this is hard to beat OK for news, sports broadcasts, weather. Highly recommended and reviewed by several radio afficiandos (radioheads) on youtube.

The Sony radio has great sound for a battery operated radio. I love it.

I wanted to use the transitor radio while walking. It is not the best for that purpose because the constant movement results in spotty reception. If the radio is in one location it works fine because the antenna can be adjusted for that location.

I bought this to put in my hurricane kit. And it's great, lasts 100 hours on one set of AA batteries. Has a little tuning LED for when you hit a station. And is small and portable, lightweight. Fits in one hand.
