I would leave the TV on for my cat when I went out for hours at a time, that's a little costly so I bought him this radio and it's perfect. It runs on batteries so no more expensive TV music for him. It works well and he and I are very happy with it.

I really enjoy my Sony AM/FM Radio. I go for daily walks and I seem to walk longer now that I have my radio with me. The sound is clear and radio is lightweight.

This was just what I wanted. Not complicated and it has good sound and reception. I prefer digital tuning but this one does a fine job.

Exactly what I wanted - a small radio I could carry around. This is pocket size but has a decent sound.

Purchased as an audio source to plug into an external speaker at local drive-in movie theater. The theater was broadcasting on local low-power FM frequencies. This unit worked great to receive the movie audio and keep us from having to use our automobile radio and risk running the battery down.

I assume not many people buy portable AM/FM radios theses days, but I wanted one to keep my birds company when they were alone. This Sony radio is exactly what I needed - good price, good reception, no unwanted features. My birds love it!

I am very satisfied with my purchase of this radio. It has been much more useful than the digital radios that I tried to use in my apartment. I considerate it a very wise and inexpensive way to have an additional radio in my home.

I use this radio for everything. I put it on my kitchen counter when cooking, bring it outside on the porch or on the pool deck with me. It is nice to be able to listen to AM/FM radio since most of the technology (phones) do not have that built in today. A great little radio for a cheap price.

It a nice small compact radio that runs on a couple of AA batteries. Batteries lasts about 100 hours and the reception of pretty good. Sound quality is what you would expect from a tiny 2" speaker. It serves its purpose and will go well into my hurricane preparedness kit. Very solid radio indeed.

Like the old "transistor radio" back in the day, this product works great. Of course, it's a Sony! As long as the batteries are fresh, it works fabulously. I pulled in WBZ radio (AM) in Boston, Ma. one evening. You get what you pay for!

Bought to leave in my To Go Bag for emergencies, so don't use it that often ---- but good sound and easy to use and be available when necessary.

I needed an fm radio for the drive in movies. This radio was perfect for it sounds great and it is very portable as well as a good price

I only tried it out, but the sound was very good and it was simple to find stations. It's difficult to say too much because I only tried using it once.

I like listen to the radio when I go to bed, I can listen the news and find out what is going on in the world, this compact radio is a ideal for that purpose. I use headphones that way I dont disturb those near me
