Great radio for the price. Feels solid - not flimsy. Sound is great for such a little radio. Feel a little more secure knowing if the electricity goes out, I can still hear what's going on out there.

We used this radio as an alternative to our broken truck radio and it's works great! You can also plug in a bluetooth speaker via an aux cord if desired

This pocket sized am-fm radio was purchased to listen to over the air radio at sporting events. It does the job very well. Is a bit larger than I would have preferred, but this does the job needed.

The radio is light weight and very portable. The sound quality is excellent.

I would prefer that instead of a stand alone off/on button, I would prefer on/off be connected to the volume setting, like the previous one that I had.

Was pleased to find this radio. Didn’t know such was available any more. It was a simple purchase with the help of a sales associate.

My autistic son needs simple to use radio to distract him when he's around people. This fits his needs and replaces the one I dropped and broke!

It arrived very quickly. It picks up stations even though I live in an apartment complex. I basically bought it because of the state of the world today, when I realized I had no battery operated outside communication. Very pleased with it.

I had the older silver one and I liked it and this one is no different but in black. Only problem it collects some fingerprints here and there

Of course reception varies based on your location but I am in an outlying area and I finally found a portable radio that I can get good reception with. I bought at least 3 radios on Amazon and they all sucked and were more expensive than this one. I returned most of them. I do have a cheap one I kept right next to this one and the difference between them is night and day.

Sony built itself on the transistor radio in the 1950's. By the 1960's they were the one to buy and Sony became a household name. I bought this to be an emergency radio, so I did not have high expectations. But, in over 60 years, I cannot say the transistor radio has improved much. It is still difficult to get clean reception even on the strongest stations as it is fussy to dial in a station. The sound quality has not improved much, but it is clear on clear stations. Do not expect bass, this is not a boom box. The switches are in positions where they are easily disturbed when you pick up the radio, so you have to fuss with it some more. This is a problem for a product that is supposed to be portable. The antenna is not recessed and appears vulnerable. The battery life so far is as expected, but nothing remarkable. However, it is a handsome looking product, it is well made, it does what it is supposed to do, but it does not break any new ground.
