It's good to have a portable radio around if the power goes out. You could just rely on your phone of course, but it would be bad news if the battery goes dead before the power comes back. It's simple to use and it doesn't cost much. It's a bit too bulky to carry in your pocket, but it does have a kind of cute retro look to it.

This is the perfect small, portable radio. The sound quality is good too

Some of the news and country music is great on FM and this is a way I can save some battery power other than draining my iPhone

I purchased this for my mother-in-law, who was looking for a little radio to use in the living room when she wasn't watching TV. She's not exactly tech savvy so it was nice to hear a few weeks after we gave the radio to her that she was using it and liking it. It's simple to operate and provides nice, crisp sound quality so my mother-in-law can listen to all her radio talk shows. Well done Sony!

Very good radio fm and am my dad very happy with radio

The Sony portable radio is wonderful. I can listen to all the St. Louis Cardinals baseball games. I can listen to lots of stations. The radio gets perfect reception.

I bought this because we were gonna go to a drive in movie theater and I didnt want to use my radio in the car. I turned off my car so i dont use its battery. It works great! it was loud enough that i didnt even need the little speaker i brought with us too
