I had some issues with it at first. I put the batteries in it and it wouldn't work no matter what I did. After a day I tested it again and it finally worked. I'm not sure what caused that to happen. Besides that it works great.

It's a throwback to the '60s when everyone wanted a transistor radio, There's nothing fancy, just a straight up AM/FM portable radio that's sleek and easily fits in your pocket. Has an earphone jack and runs on two AA batteries. It pulls in signals very well.

The built-in speaker has so-so sound quality, so I would recommend using an auxiliary cable to hook up to an external speaker. The reception was clear and the tuning seems steady. Worked as I had hoped.

Does not come with an old-fashioned earphone but then there are much better independent options out there. One thing to note is that it is not a separate on/off switch but combined for on/off/am/fm.
