Great if you travel and find yourself outside of cell coverage and want to listen to some music or a ballgame. They don't make many of these anymore, so choices are severely limited.

Love this radio for the beach n traveling. No recharging. Just 2 AA batteries. Had my old radio for years. Been using transistor Radios since my teens.

Over all, this small AM/FM radio is just right for my use. When working in the yard, hiking, or just sitting on my patio the news or music is usually loud and clear.

Grandbabies love these. We bought 3. They are enjoying them so much. Perfect size for their little hands! Great value for the price.

Fairly well built. I bit plasticky. Otherwise it is a great device. Decent sound quality for the size. Looking forward to using this more often as needed.

This is a good small radio. It picks up radio stations pretty good inside of building. I would say it is perfect for indoor use because volume on radio doesn’t get loud. So if you are thinking using this radio in some noisy place, this might not be a good choice.

if you want a portable hand held radio not bad better FM than AM though ?? I guess your location dictates the reception!!! Good for the price!!!!

We purchased this for emergencies and to pick up a movie audio at a recent "drive-in" charity event. It's pretty typical for a low-cost AM/FM portable. It's quite light (and I wouldn't want to drop it), but it did pick up stations without any trouble and was very easy to use. Obviously, the point of this radio is to use if the power is out or we're out in the boondocks somewhere and want to know what's going on. Other than that, it probably will sit in a drawer until needed.

Purchased for my mother who had this same model for years and loved it. Hers finally died. She's very happy with the design and quality.

I already own a sony small radio like this and the overall quality is very good, so I purchased another just in case they would not continue making this model.

Very Good! I like this radio because I can go outside with it and sit in the yard and have the radio on.

Works very well and easy to use I use it at the outdoor Mass at the FM station. I do not have to use my car radio and use the car battery.
