Storms, power outages, things like that make these very handy. I use it for a specific radio station so I can listen to football when they're not on tv...and it's fantastic

Threw away my old transistor radios and recently found the need for one. Use it for live sport events I am attending to listen to sportscasters to enjoy the game further. When using digital devices there is a noticeable delay that is annoying.

Good enough for the job

I needed a radio for the drive in movie theater to not waste my car battery. It was very useful and still use it around the house. I think the quality for the price is really good but could be better sound. But it’s good enough
