It is very hard to find transistor radio these days but I was happy to find this Sony. These radios work great during hurricane season in South Florida.

This is a radio receiver. It isn't complicated, and works exactly the same as radios of old. A great gift to my 83-year old father that doesn't know anything digital.

This is a dandy little powerhouse of a radio. Both am and fm frequencies came through on a strong signal. It does the Sony brand well, as to be expected.

Great to listen to local AM radio broadcasts never know when you will need a AM/FM radio which is a dying thing these days

the quality is ok and works fine. was wanting to see if I can receive an AM station that I like that doesn't sound too clear on Car's radio. it couldn't. but will keep at home anyway.

I haven't had a transistor radio in decades and never thought I'd need one. I get it now. It's a great little and powerful package.

If the power goes out got my trusted standard transitor radio I know I'm old school but its dependable

I bought this just to have, it reminds me of old school and seems to work good and just in case power goes out it will be nice to have, every one should have one for back up.

This is the perfect radio for events that are broadcast on FM stations for those who have difficulty hearing in crowds. It lights up when station is found. It’s great!

This is a great old school am/fm radio to take with to work, ballgames, or anywhere you need a radio that you can put in your jacket pocket for music, news, play by play on local sports...

Most AM stations are not clear and pick up interference. FM is a little better. Nice to have on hand in power outages.

Sony’s AM/FM portable radio comes at a great value if you’re looking for entertainment or information on the go. It doesn’t come with batteries, which is a given.

This radio, does the job, during power outage it provided necessary information after our cell phones died and internet was down.

My aunt can’t live without her radio. It was hard to find, but Best Buy had it in stock. She loved her Christmas present.

It worked good until I was trying to tune in a channel and moving the antenna around and then the antenna broke. I did not use a great deal of force at all and it just snapped at the base.

I love it. I use it when I go outside for when I go walking in my neighborhood park. I'm a Sony fan. The sound quality is great.

I found this product to be well made and a very useful device to have in an emergency.
