Small very compact sound quality is fair but acceptable for its size

I bought this radio for my father who is in an assisted living facility. He has trouble turning it on because the switch on the side is the same color as the case. Otherwise it does the job.

Awful reception. Extreme difficulty with tuning to stations.

I’ve seen other portable radios with the same price point that have a digital read out of the station you’re selecting so it’s easier than hand tuning. Has good sound when it works though.

This radio didn't even begin to satisfy my needs. I bought it for my Uncle so he could listen to the radio in his hospital room, but despite being near a large window it could not clearly pick up any AM or FM stations to be anywhere near listenable. Highly disappointed by Sony.

This unit doesn't perform to expectation. The reception is poor and the volume and sound may be typical of a unit of this type but I believe lower than I wanted. I went with an Insignia unit instead and couldn't be happier.

Its a good , worked but found a better deal at other store

not good ,small sound does not pick up stations good ,

i bought this because i thought sony was a quality product but when i try to listen to my favorite am radio station i can barley receive it i have a radio from china that has no problem very disappointed with sony

I just bought this little radio to use while walking after breaking my old expensive Walkman. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before buying this item. I have to say I am so impressed with the clarity of the sound on this little radio, it's easy to set to my station and easy to adjust the volume. I have no problem with reception while walking and changing directions. Very happy with this radio, it delivers what it promises. Plus, you can't beat that price. I use my headset with it and have had no problem with connection or sound.

Ear phone location is in the wrong spot. It should be located at the top of the radio, not the side. You can't put it in your shirt pocket, or pants pocket without damaging the earphone terminal plugin. Could be much better. You need to carry a better radio product. Too much static. People still listen to radios when they are working. I buy this because it's all you have. I can't find much better. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend accept for emergencies. It doesn't work very well. You should carry a much better product. I would buy a better product, provided that it fit my needs. It's too cheaply made.

I wasn't looking for anything special, just a device that provides radio. This product does the trick. It has no bells or whistles so don't expect things like sound quality, blue tooth capabilities, etc.
