Too hard to tune.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really hard to tune this little radio. We got it for a drive in movie, so car battery wouldn't drain, but we were unable to tune it to the small movie frequency so it was useless.

poor reception
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased strictly for the drive-in so I wouldn't have to keep my car stereo / screen on for five hours during double features. The reception is poor, and not just for the local drive-in stations. I could only get maybe three local radio stations in on the FM frequency. Returning to the store.

Problems after a year
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Top-heavy. Size ok, but after a little more than one year, the volume wheel is hard to regulate. Can't get it to a comfortable volume. Blares loudly when I turn it up.

Poor reception
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for the boat to get updates during a fishing tournament aired over radio. Didn’t work out as would only get reception if you were holding it. Kind of wasted my money but was only $20.

Good in the 1980's, buit not in 2020
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It continually loses power or moves the selection and doesn't stay on the right channel. It's hard to find a good small radio. I wish it had bluetooth.

Sony AM/FM radio
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed - poor reception. Could not get clear reception for any fm stations, even outside - very staticky. AM stations were a bit better, but also staticky. Volume is also rather low at highest setting. Bought to use during a power outage - and though inexpensive, it was not worth it.

You Should Spend more
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really basic, nothing exceptional about the product even though it is a SONY. Coverage is disappointing, sound quality is only average.

Poor performance!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I can give it 0 star, I would! FM stations practically inexistent! I only get one station. Volume control cannot go high without a lot of statics. Piece of crap. Will return.

Save your warranty info.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Save your warranty information! The first radio worked for about 11 months, and then had to bring it back because volume control lost fine tune ability. The second radio worked well for about twice as long, but now failed, too, in terms of being able to even hold a signal. Expected more, much more.

Useless
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it for the drive-in movie -- so I could tune in to the theater's broadcast and listen in my car without the car radio draining the battery for two hours. couldn't ever find the station = no reception. then, with modest drop, the antenna broke off. A waste of money.
