I listen to local radio (AM, FM or short wave) for free and this includes a 24 hour classical music station from U of O. The sound produced is wonderful and the unit is very portable. It dos not break when dropped and the batteries last me several days. Bought two for friends.

Makes it hard to tune a station exactly, and after you get a station the radio will drift off of it, resulting in sound distortion. You can't beat digital tuning! (I own one, but wasn't purchased from Best Buy.)

I bought this to listen to the radio broadcast of local sports and it’s been a total frustration. Very disappointed in Sony for this.

Unreliable Sony AM- FM
