The speaker sounds good probably will last long but the battery life is way too short seems as if it doesn't even charge

use this speaker for my tv, clarity is not as good as i thought it would be, buts gets the job done for my purpose,

I bought this exactly 1 year ago and it no longer works. I was already not impressed with the sound (bass is not good) but when the charge port stopped working I was completely disappointed. Do yourself a favor and purchase a different brand.

I went to turn it on yesterday and NOTHING!! No sound. It shows that it is on when I press the on button and the pairing light is on. All cables are plugged in solidly and still no sound!It had been working very well up untill yesterday and then NOTHING!

I bought two of these speakers in order to be able to sync them. I only had the speakers approximately 5 to 10 feet from one another but they were not sinking properly. 1 speaker would be approximately one second ahead of the other speaker

I got this because I was looking for a speaker for work and didn't feel like mortgaging my home to get a Bose or Beats. I have always enjoyed Sony products and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It has great sound, some great base for the size, easily connects to my devices and yes, the short charge cord sucks but if you have longer cables you are all set. I get a seven hours of use out of it everyday and I am sure it can go longer. I got two more, one so that I can play them in stereo, and one for a friend for Christmas because she liked it when I brought it over for a party. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a solid, great sounding, moderately priced BT speaker for use wherever.

Bluetooth constantly disconnects sounds quality is terrible unless at low volume. Forget the extra bass it only sounds distorted. Only giving 1 star because I cant give zero

The Sony SRS-XB2 was purchased today in the morning hours after a lengthy test of the sales floor model. I'll admit that I came for the UE Megaboom of which I used to have at one point until I regretfully sold it to a pawnshop (what a mistake). As I was trying to muster up the courage to grab another UE product (considering how expensive they are), I glanced over and saw the group of Sony entertainment Bluetooth speakers and grew curious of the family of supposedly bass boasting speakers(on sale for $75 after California tax). I stepped over hoping that at one of them would be able to work (usually display models are destroyed) with much of my great luck, the bigger and littler brothers both functioned as I sampled the different preset tunes as I observed the sounds. Let's just say I couldn't wait to rip open the mini one's box and take advantage of this speakers wondrous features: Bluetooth and NFC was such an effortless setup and was playing tunes straightaway, my oh my and paired with my Sony Xperia XA Ultra, I was unstoppable! The equalizer settings built in to my phone gave this speaker the cherry-on-the-top perfection as I was able to tune it to my ear's greatest pleasure. The flow of the bass which kicks in selectively, means I can switch it on and off with the right music, with the richest forms of bass, from classical all the way to the soul hitting R&B. This speaker, I have to say is remarkable for it's size and the sound and bass have no distortion, unless you're trying to purposely blow the speakers. The charging time on this speaker is pretty swift as well and the calls are very clear and premium. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this and am proud to call it my most beloved audio anywhere experience!

current sale price is amazing at 49.99. This speaker is awesome. Hands down superior sound for comparable units. Enough bass and high notes sound clear. Love the battery life, in time I do wonder what the average will be. My previous speaker was great but this is just so much better. I'm not one for a ton of buttons so this works perfectly and syncs with all devices with ease. Still can't believe it's at this current price, this is a must! Was charged right out of the box that was a nice touch, way to go Sony! My new favorite toy by far.

I bought this expecting to listen to music consistently. It cuts out, Bluetooth drops, and will occasionally hold a charge. Waste of 100 bucks.

This Sony portable speaker is the best speaker I've ever heard. The sound quality is fabulous, and the volume is overwhelmingly loud, I tend to use it at 1/2 volume it's so loud. The battery life is great too and charges relatively quickly. The build seems rather durable and has rubber feet with an almost sticky texture to them so the chances of it falling off a table or something are slim. I recommend this product for anyone looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker.

Product was good but online customer service is the worst I have experienced in a retail store.

I was not happy with the performance or function of this product for the price.
