Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a back-up to the JBL - Pulse 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker and when I put them side by side I liked the highs from the XB2 and the overall sound it produces. The bottom is better in the JBL but the Sony is clean, crisp and clear.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't get me wrong, I really like the size, color (mine is orange), and the quality of the sound which is awesome. The problem with mine lies on the Bluetooth pairing - it totally sucks! I've have spent up to twenty minutes trying to pair my phone with the speaker to no avail. I clicked on "Forget Device" to pair again, I turned the Bluetooth on and off several times, same with the speaker, I even turned my iPhone on and off several times and the freaking speaker wouldn't pair. Today I finally gave up and is going back to the store. Hopefully Sony will address this problem for the sake of people's sanity because I was going crazy trying to pair it so many times.

Good quality sound and durability

So far it has been sturdy and the sounds quality is fair. The only thing I wish it had was a skip feature built in and the ability to use it while it's charging or plugged in

The quality of the sound is very good and clear. Can still crank for the favorite tunes despite the smaller size.

It's pretty loud but we have a small house. We have a 14 year old girl who breaks a lot of stuff and this thing is rigid. This is good for kids, for sure.
