Not great reception. I use it when walking and have to keep turning the radio to get reception. Also, changes band and station very easily.

I needed a small radio to listen to the hockey game at the game as the sound is so bad you can't understand announcer so my new radio is perfect so I can listen to radio announcer. 2 other people told me where to go to get it.

Small size makes the radio convenient for use when walking or jogging. The reception has been very good.

It is rather pricey because it is made by Sony but I use it primarily to take to baseball and football games. It takes only one triple a battery and it is easy to install. I would also recommend it if you like to run because it is small and light and can attach easily to your belt.

Compact and easy on batteries. Brings in many stations clearly.

Needed a radio for an IndyCar race we were attending (Indy 500). Had bought a cheap one before and signal was not constant. Decided to spend a little more to see if we could get a constant signal. Signal was good the entire race. Sound is good. Form factor is functional. Like the weather channel feature. Also now using when mowing... Overall a good radio - which is harder to find today than you would think.

This was for a 69 year old client and he had this one before but the battery cap got lost so the batteries didn't stay in well. So awesome we got the exact same one. A little pricey considering it's only a radio.

Great! Easy to program & very easy to use.Bought for my 85 year old dad to replace the one he used for 20 years. It was a Sony Walkman as well. I'm sure this will work & last as well as his first one!!

Great radio, small. Fits in a pocket. Durable unit. Reception might not be outstanding in certain cities depending on the interference of the area.

Excellent small hand held am/fm radio..comes with belt clip..cheesy and strap plus headphones...does the job listening to local sports and news

Second one I've owned. Bought one 10 or 12 years ago (for a bit less) and thought I'd broke it when it fell out of my pocket and hit the tile floor, but nope , after finding that it was still made and had it ordered and on the way I discovered that the ear bud (purchased separately, and much preferred over the headphones) wires had snapped, radio was fine. Gave the new one to my son and he loves it. Like the digital lock, no losing the station, easy on battery, great for talk radio. Hope they keep making this model because one day I may actually break the radio. Tip, use a safety pin on the pocket and you won't drop the radio and yank an ear bud out of your ear.
