I can't use ear buds, and I was very pleased with the comfort of the headphones. They are very light and have a great sound. The radio was very simple to set up and start using. My only problem is that it is very easy to accidentally change the station and band if the unit is bumped, but it is no problem to put it back where I want it. The weather band is also a nice bonus feature.

I think it would be a better radio with AA power and also remove the weather band and have 5 more AM presets... Otherwise this is a good product for its size and it price point...4/8/16

The instructions tell the technical reason why the reception is so good. Sure makes a difference. Use it all the time in the gym. It is also easy to operate. I purchased a cheaper radio before I bought this unit and took it back for the Sony. I am glad I did that.
