I bought this to listen to baseball games at the ballpark. Although sometimes the reception is scratchy, by and large it works well for my purposes. The digital display is so much easier than a dial tuner.

Looked for a portable radio that would pick up distant stations. This picks up stations in early am ( after midnight) that are 100 or more miles away, which is what I wanted. During Daytime hour does very well also for nearest station is 50 miles way.

My husband uses this radio everyday. He listens to talk radio stations. Sometimes he forgets to bring it with him, so how we own four of them. He puts one in different places (car, computer bag and etc), so he doesn't missing any shows. That is why they are "Well worth it!"

I like to listen to the broadcasters while at games. It fits well in any pocket.

Not a bad little radio. I think it's a little overpriced but that's Sony for you.

The portable tuner has good battery life and can pick up am/fm stations. Ideal for listening to a sports game.

I love this little Sony radio. It is just the perfect device for listening to a baseball game when you're at the game or a dirt track race. I bought it to use at Eldora speedway in Ohio with my scanner headset and it works perfectly

I needed a portable radio for walking and most of all for dental surgery to relax myself. I have anxiety and it helps me clear my mind. It's perfect! Light weight!! I love how you can lock it to the radio station you want it to stay on with ease.

In a world of streaming devices this Sony miniature radio still is relevant. It has good sensitivity, is efficient on battery use. There are still many instances where a listener will want to tune into either AM or FM signals.

Radio works fine, even under winter clothing. Weather band works outside, close to a window or metal. 'Belt' clip is a little too tight to fit over sweatpants waistband.

Love this little radio! Tunes in great and has really good sound. I purchased one of these for my husband at least 6 years ago and it recently stopped working. I was so glad they still make it! Definitely a good purchase!

I was so surprised that such great sound could come from such a tiny radio. Well worth the money. Great for wearing to the dentist, and it is so convenient being so mall.

I use this at the gym on the treadmill, elliptical, bike, etc. works great to pick up the TV audio broadcasts at Lifetime Fitness.

Needed to have a Walkman type radio when walking my mail route in NJ. This has proved to be reliable and also sounds great. Also a great deal on price. Thx

I have been very happy with this radio. I use it for my workouts and the preset stations make it easy to switch from music to sports. It's very lightweight and easy to clip on (and stays on). Love it!

OK to use walking dog. However, weak or no reception for some local FM stations, Older models with thumb control for the stations had better reception.

I use this for walking and the stations come in really well, I mostly listen to am. This is my 2 nd one because I lost the first one. I like how small it is and can fit it in my pocket.

You can preset 20 stations. There is also a clock. Great for walking and listening to the news instead of all music on your iPod.

My past Sony's like this have not lasted well - the input for jacks for earphones goes bad - did on both my past ones. Hope this one will last longer. In the short time I have had it, I like it.
