As noted above, this is a good basic portable. It is one of the few small units that carry AM/FM/Weather. My wife uses it to listen to ball games in locations where the AM signal is better than the FM station.

We use a radio at the ball games and while exercising. We have used several different ones over the years but this Sony is the best one. It is sturdy and reliable and has good coverage.

I use this at work when they banned the use of MP3 players. A lot of slots to preset stations. It also plays AM, which may or may not be important to some! Great signal, low battery consumption.

perfect size , love it just perfect fits for shirt pocket. I own 3 one for travel in car one by bed side I go to sleep with it, one in tv room to listen to sports or favorite programs

Cannot turn off clock, so uses a lot of batteries.

I bought it so I can use it and a bobcat and not use data on my phone and it worked out really good

This is the second radio of this type that I have purchased. I still have the first one; I just needed another one. It is a compact radio that works well. It fulfills my needs in that area.

I have 3 Walkman, 1 in Vegas and 1 new one here which I replaced because the battery cover would no longer stay on. I like it because it is digital stations and I can program my favorite stations.

I have not used as much as often as I thought I might, but it worked well at work on those few occasions. It fits the bill since I can listen to AM and FM. Glad I found it while in the store.

Reception on the radio was excellent. Not a fan of the headphones, would have preferred if the radio came with ear buds.

Buy this for my father who is blind, and he loves that he is able to hear all his games on the AM Radio and his Stock Shows on it as well.

My little girl had had one of these and really liked it. I don't know what became of it, but she said she wanted another. She must like it to want another just like the one she had.

Being a senior who walks a lot this style phone was just the right size for my pocket. It's was also easy to set the many radio stations I like. Such progess for such a small radio.

it does the job, it's digital and works fine inside my big metal building, the headset is a little short, it's enjoyable. and very affordable to compared to what's out there.

We have the TV sets at the fitness center on FM radio signal. So if you want watch news in the morning you have to have a radio. This Sony does a great job.
